kendall is very lucky that stewy has made being a bad person one of the pillars of his personality because frankly after this shit literally anyone else would send him to hell. but not stewy. not stewy hosseini. stewy doesn't give a fuck. stewy makes a conscious decision to not give a fuck. stewy uses the name stewy. stewy is detached from his cultural identity, and only ever draws attention to it when he has an opportunity to make a joke at its expense. it is something he did on purpose. stewy doesn't give a fuck. he doesn't want to. he is rich and he wants to stay rich and he wants to get richer because wealth grants him immunity and because he time and time again makes a conscious decision not to give a fuck about anyone but himself and his position. the country around him can burn. he is just in it for the money.

he will beat ken's ass for blowing up the deal though

also the little moment with jess this episode was such a great use of her character. her entire trajectory up until this point reflected in her eyes and the sinking realization of where she is and what she's (indirectly) complicit in. yes she is just an assistant but there must have been, along the way, choices made that brought her closer and closer to the intimate position of being kendall roy's assistant. things she had to justify to herself, cognitive dissonances to reckon with, things she saw and heard and maybe even facilitated that kept her up at night. and it all culminates in that haunted hallway, and she doesn't know what to do with her hands nor the awareness of the moment she must have had, at some point she did not recognize, where she could've chosen not to be a part of it

roman's self destruction is so interesting to me because he will destroy everything around him first. fuck every single important relationship he has and later start on himself. the way he is hyping himself up in front of a mirror in the promo is soooo promising to me because he's on top of the world since he managed to elect menken (what he thinks logan would want) but he's literally rehearsing what to say at his father's funeral and I feel like he will realize that nothing he achieved since logan died matters bc well. logan is dead. how do you even make a ghost proud? roman will crash and burn with an audience and im so looking forward to it.
